I’ve ran into quite an interesting issue while trying to publish an extension from VSCode which took a while for me to figure out the solution.
As Google (at the time of writing) didn’t provide me with anything useful I though I’d share 🙂
If you have any issues publishing extensions the very first thing you should try to do is to completely un-publish the extension via Extension Management.
It would be helpful to also do a quick Download Symbols and Reload Window in VSCode.
If all this fails this probably means that something went out of Sync. Fire up the DEV environment and look for table 2000000153 – Nav App Installed App table.
In there you should see a row with your problematic extension still in it. Delete this row and voila, your extension should now publish successfully from VSCode.
